 Jen
has been teaching at City College of San Francisco since the
summer of 2007. She has been a freeway flier since, teaching
Asian American Studies courses at CCSF, Berkeley City College
and De Anza College. Ms. Giang enjoys teaching part-time
around the Bay Area, building a home at each campus.
Prior to her teaching career, Jen worked in youth empowerment
non-profit organizations in the East Bay such as Girls Inc.
and Diversity Works. These organizations supplemented her
learning environment at San Francisco State where she earned
her Master’s Degree in Asian American Studies. Her teaching
career in Ethnic Studies stemmed from own experiences at
Sonoma State University from which she earned a BA in American
Multicultural Studies.
