MPICT Regional Leadership Council (RLC)

MPICT’s primary governing body is its Regional Leadership Council (RLC).

Membership in the RLC currently consists of the Principal Investigator, Co-Principal Investigators and Regional Partners of the NSF grant for MPICT:

• Pierre Thiry (CCSF CNIT Dept. Faculty and PI)

• James Jones (MPICT Executive Director and Co-PI)

• Olivia Herriford (MPICT Associate Director)

• Tim Ryan (CCSF Network Manager)

• Craig Persiko (CCSF CS Dept. Chair)

• Beth Cataldo (CCSF Multimedia Studies faculty and Co-PI)

• Michael McKeever (Santa Rosa Junior College Regional Partner)

• Richard Grotegut (Ohlone College Regional Partner)

• Rick Graziani (Cabrillo College Regional Partner)

• Elaine Haight (Foothill College Regional Partner and Co-PI)

• Bill Doherty (Truckee Meadows Community College Regional Partner and Co-PI)

• Steve Singer (Kapi'olani Community College Regional Partner)

The RLC meets quarterly and talks monthly to develop plans for Center activities, evaluate Center staff performance, establish working groups for Center goals, determine NVC composition and activities, approve marketing materials, determine future goals and Regional Partner additions and make other significant decisions.

The RLC’s governing style is open communication and consensus-building. Major decisions are determined by two-thirds vote
